Changing Locking Control Modes: Notes

  1. Turn off instrument panel dimmer switch. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove BCM PRGRM fuse.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. BCM will sound chime (2, 3 or 4 chimes) corresponding to BCM type installed on vehicle. BCM has now entered the feature customization mode.
  3. To change locking control mode, press and release UNLOCK on either door lock switch. BCM will sound chime equivalent to locking control mode. When Mode 4 is reached, Mode 1 will be repeated. To exit and save current customization mode, turn ignition off and reinstall BCM PRGRM fuse. The lock control modes are as follows:
