Last Door Closed Locking
- When a vehicle door is open, ignition switch in LOCK position and key removed from ignition switch, press power door lock switch or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to LOCK all doors. Exit vehicle and close all doors. When last door closed locking feature is enabled, BCM will automatically lock all doors about five seconds after all doors are closed. To enable last door closed locking feature, ensure locking control mode 3 or 4 is selected. See LOCKING CONTROL MODES .
- To cancel last door closed locking command, press door lock switch or RKE transmitter (if equipped) to UNLOCK doors or turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN position.
- To override last door closed locking feature, press LOCK twice using power door lock switch or RKE transmitter (if equipped). BCM will lock all doors immediately, even with a door still open.
