Interior Lighting Modes

  1. Turn Instrument Panel (I/P) dimmer switch off. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove BCM PRGRM (10-amp) fuse. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Count and record number of chime tones to verify BCM type currently installed (type 2, 3 or 4). After BCM type is identified, BCM will enter feature customization mode. Go to next step.
  2. Cycle I/P dimmer switch from OFF to DOME position, then back to OFF position. BCM will sound chime tone equal to current interior lighting mode setting. See INTERIOR LIGHTING MODES  table. Go to next step.
  3. To advance interior lighting mode to next setting, cycle I/P dimmer switch from OFF position to DOME position, then back to OFF position. BCM will sound chime tone equal to lighting mode setting. See INTERIOR LIGHTING MODES  table. Repeat procedure until desired lighting mode setting is achieved. To exit and save current lighting mode setting, turn ignition switch to LOCK position and replace BCM PGRM (10-amp) fuse.

    Lighting Mode Description
    Mode 1 Exit & Delayed Lighting Is Disabled
    Mode 2 Only Delayed Illumination Is Enabled
    Mode 3 Only Exit Illumination Is Enabled
    Mode 4 Exit & Delayed Illumination Is Enabled
