Entering Input Diagnostic Modes

After displaying and reading all BCM DTCs stored in memory, BCM will enter input/output diagnostic mode. Input diagnostic mode will identify BCM is receiving input information from switches or systems. BCM may flash fasten seat belts warning indicator once and/or chime tone will sound once, when any of following inputs are activated:

• Courtesy Lighting Switches
• Door Lock Cylinder Switches
• Door & Liftgate Ajar Switches
• Driver Fasten Seat Belt Switch
• Driver Information Display (DID)
• Glove Box Light Switch
• Hazard Switch
• Headlight Switch
• Power Door Lock Switches
• Shock Sensor
• Power Sliding Side Door Ajar Switches
• Sunshade Illuminated Vanity Mirrors
• Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter Requests
