Transmitter Programming
NOTE:
Program only one Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) at a time. If multiple receivers are being programmed at the same time, it is possible to program the same transmitter to more than one RCDLR.
- When Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) enters programming mode, programming of first transmitter erases all previous transmitter programming information. This requires programming of all transmitters.
- Remove ignition key from ignition switch. Remove BCM PRGRM fuse located in instrument panel fuse block. Close all doors and liftgate. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Turn ignition switch to OFF position, then back to ACC position within one second.NOTE: During next step, after 7 seconds a chime may be heard confirming synchronization is successful. It is necessary to wait 14 seconds for second chime that will confirm successful programming.
- Open, then close any vehicle door. A chime will be heard when system enters BCM programming/diagnostic mode. Press and hold transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds.
- Repeat step 3 for each transmitter. Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. When all transmitters are programmed, remove ignition key. Install BCM PRGRM fuse in instrument panel fuse block. Programming is complete.
