Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes
- Turn ignition off. Close all doors. Remove BCM PRGRM fuse from fuse panel. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Seat belt indicator flashes and chime sounds 2-4 times. This identifies type of BCM. See BCM IDENTIFICATION table.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position, then back to ACC position within one second. If BCM has stored DTCs, BCM will flash and chime DTCs. If DTC 8 is present, see DIAGNOSTIC TESTS . If DTCs other than DTC 8 are present, see appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article. If no DTCs are present, see SYMPTOM INDEX table under SYMPTOM TESTS.
