Trouble Shooting

Check starter solenoid terminals and battery grounds for tight connections. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment that could affect system. Check IG fuse (60-amp) and BATT fuse (70-amp) in underhood fuse box. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Perform appropriate self-diagnostic system test for any system that is malfunctioning to ensure no DTCs are stored in PCM memory which may lead to misdiagnosis. See BODY CONTROL MODULES - METRO article. If problem is found or any DTCs exist, repair as necessary. If problem is not found and no DTCs exist, repair by symptom.
