  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Operate power window master switch to UP and DOWN positions for left front power window. If power window does not operate, go to next step. If power window operates, diagnose intermittent condition. See INTERMITTENTS in BODY CONTROL MODULES - PRIZM article.
  3. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect power window master switch 14-pin harness connector. Connect a fused jumper wire to terminal No. 4 (White/Black wire) of power window master switch harness connector. See Figure . Depending on window's position connect other end of jumper wire to terminal No. 5 (Green wire), if window is down, or terminal No. 1 (Yellow wire), if window is up. Connect a second fused jumper wire to terminal No. 10 (Black wire) of power window master switch harness connector. Depending on window's position, connect other end of jumper wire to terminal No. 1 (Yellow wire), if window is down, or terminal No. 5 (Green wire), if window is up. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If window does not move, go to next step. If window moves, go to step  5 .
  4. Disconnect left front power window motor harness connector. Measure resistance in Green wire between left front window motor harness connector terminal No. 2 and power window master switch terminal No. 5. See Figure . Measure resistance in Yellow wire between left front window motor harness connector terminal No. 1 and power window master switch terminal No. 1. Resistance should be less than 2 ohms, for both measurements. If resistance is as specified, go to step  6 . If resistance is not as specified, go to step  7 .
  5. Inspect power window master switch for loose terminals or corrosion. Diagnose intermittent condition. See INTERMITTENTS in BODY CONTROL MODULES - PRIZM article. If problem still exists, go to step  8 . If problem does not exist, go to step  10 .
  6. Inspect left front power window motor harness connector for loose terminals or corrosion. Diagnose intermittent condition. See INTERMITTENTS in BODY CONTROL MODULES - PRIZM article. If problem still exists, go to step  9 . If problem does not exist, go to step  10 .
  7. Repair open in appropriate wire between power window master switch and left front power window motor. After repair, go to step  10 .
