Window Motor: Installation

  1. Lubricate power window motor drive gear and regulator sector teeth.
  2. To install power window motor, snap power window motor to lock module. See Figure .
    3. NOTE: Ensure marker or grease pencil line from removal procedure is lined up. Lining up marks will set correct pre-tension of counterbalance spring.
  3. Use Counterbalance Spring Removal and Installation Tool to set tension.
  4. Install wiring harness to regulator motor.
  5. Install power window regulator to door. See Figure .
  6. Install front door water deflector.
  7. Install front door trim panel.
