Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket.
  2. Install the rear bumper impact bar bolt. Tighten the rear bumper impact bar bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft lbs).
  3. Install the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulators to the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket.
  4. Install the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket.
  5. Install the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket bolt. Tighten the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket bolt to 25 N.m (18 ft lbs).
  6. Install the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulator to the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket.
  7. Remove the support from the exhaust system.
  8. Inspect the exhaust system for underbody contact.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
