Knee Bolster: Installation
Align the knee bolster bracket to the instrument panel. Install the knee bolster bracket bolts to the instrument carrier in the sequence shown. See Fig 1 . Tighten the bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). Install the bracket bolts which secure the instrument panel driver knee bolster to the instrument panel lower trim panel. Tighten the bracket bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). Install the steering column filler panel. See STEERING COLUMN FILLER PANEL . Install the left instrument panel insulator.
