Shift Lock Solenoid Control Module: Removal
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the floor consoles. Remove the shift indicator bulb from the shift indicator (2). See Figure .
- Remove 4 screws from the shift indicator. Reposition the shift indicator in order to gain access to the shift lock solenoid control module. Remove the electrical connectors (2, 3) from the shift lock solenoid and the shift lock switch assembly (1). See Figure .
- Remove the electrical connector (2) from the shift lock solenoid control module (1). Remove the shift lock solenoid control module from the gearshift selector. See Figure .
