Conditions for Running

Passive Test

• The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is between 39-221°F (4-105°C).
• The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) is between 39-158°F (4-70°C).
• The battery voltage is more than 10 volts.
• The Active Test, if required, begins after the engine goes into Closed Loop Fuel Control.

Active Test

• The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is between 176-221°F (80-105°C).
• The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) is more than 50°F (10°C).
• The engine is operating in Closed Loop Fuel Control.
• The battery voltage is more than 10 volts.
