Removal & Installation: Notes
WARNING:
Vehicle may be equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). When servicing vehicle, use care to avoid accidental air bag deployment. SRS-related components may be located in steering column, center console, instrument panel and lower panel on instrument panel. Do not use electrical test equipment on or near these circuits. If necessary, deactivate SRS before servicing components. See AIR BAG DEACTIVATION PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. Before disconnecting battery, see COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
