Ensure Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch is adjusted properly. See appropriate AUTOMATIC article in TRANSMISSION SERVICING. PNP switch may also be referred to as Transaxle Range (TR) sensor or switch. Verify system operation after performing any repairs.
