Valve Clearance

NOTE: All engines except Vibe 1.8L, use hydraulic lifters. Adjustments are not required. For Vibe 1.8L specifications, see VALVE CLEARANCE SPECIFICATIONS - VIBE 1.8L  table.

(1) Adjustments are made with engine cold 77°F (25°C). Valve shims range in size from 0.0787" (2.000 mm) to 0.1102" (2.800 mm) in increments of 0.0008" (0.020 mm).
