Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the side front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door .
  2. Remove the front water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .

  3. Remove the fastener that retains the door check link to the pillar.

  4. Remove the rubber dust boot from the door check link in order to gain access to the door retaining fasteners.

  5. Remove the door check link retaining fasteners from the door.
  6. Remove the door check link assembly through the door access hole.
