Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Inner Door Panel Protector

  2. Remove the front water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  3. Remove the inside door handle from the door. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Inside .

  4. Disconnect the clip securing the outside door handle rod to the front door lock.

  5. Disconnect the outside lock rod from the door latch.

  6. Disconnect the inner lower lock rod.

  7. Remove the screws from the front door latch.

  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front door latch.

  9. Remove the latch through the access hole in the front door inner panel.
