Removal Procedure

  1. Disable SIR zone 6 or SIR zone 2. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 in SIR.
  2. Remove the lock pillar trim. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar in Interior Trim.

  4. Disconnect the connector positive assurance (1) from the seat belt pretensioner.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  6. Remove the seat belt anchor fastener from the floor (2).

  8. Route the seat belt webbing and anchor through the seat belt guide loop.

  10. Remove the seat belt fastener (1).

  12. Lift the seat belt pretensioner away from the hanger basket.
  13. Remove the seat belt from the vehicle.
