Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner tub by pressing downward on the tub until the grommets are seated on the mounting studs.

  2. Insert the air cleaner element into the air cleaner tub.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the air cleaner cover and MAF/IAT sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  4. Install the air cleaner cover.

  5. Fasten the air cleaner cover retainer clips.
  6. Connect the MAF sensor harness connector.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
