Removal Procedure
- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones
in SIR.
- Remove the lower steering column trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement
in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Disconnect the A/T shift lock control actuator electrical connector.

- Place the shift lever clevis into the neutral position.
- Use a small screwdriver to pry the A/T shift lock control actuator from the steering column jacket assembly.
- Remove the A/T shift lock control actuator from the steering column.
