Removal Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Heated Oxygen and Oxygen Sensor Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Disconnect the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer.
Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) sensor electrical connector (1).
