Installation Procedure

  1. Install the duct and the resonator assembly through the wheel house opening.

  3. Verify the full engagement of the resonator assembly to the air cleaner inlet.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the duct attaching nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the 3 attaching fasteners (1) to the resonator.
  8. Install the left front wheelhouse panels. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  9. Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Install the screw (2) to the air cleaner intake duct.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  12. Install the left front headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
