Electrical Component Locator: Switches

SWITCHES LOCATION

Component Location
A/C Pressure Switch On A/C line, lower left front of engine compartment. See Figure.
Automatic Transaxle Fluid Pressure Manual Valve Position Switch In automatic transaxle.
Brake Fluid Level Switch In master cylinder reservoir.
Brake Fluid Level Switch Connector Left rear of engine compartment. See Figure.
Cruise Control Release Switch Behind left side of dash, on brake pedal support.
Engine Oil Level Switch (3.4L VIN E) Front center of oil pan. See Figure.
Engine Oil Level Switch (3.8L VIN K & VIN 1) Left center of oil pan. See Figure.
Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch (3.4L VIN E) On left side of engine, above starter. See Figure.
Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch (3.8L VIN K & VIN 1) Right front of engine, below power steering pump. See Figure.
Ignition Switch Left side of dash. See Figure.
Ignition Switch Connector Left side of instrument panel. See Figure.
Lever Assembly-Manual Shaft Detent With Shift Position Switch-Internal Mode Switch (IMS) In automatic transmission assembly. See Figure.
Park Brake Switch At base of parking brake assembly. See Figure.
Park Brake Switch Connector At parking brake switch. See Figure.
Seat Belt Switch-Left Right side of driver's seat. See Figure.
Stoplamp Switch On brake pedal support.
Sun Roof Opening Position Switch Above sun roof motor. See Figure.
Transmission Fluid Pressure (TFP) Manual Valve Position Switch Assembly In automatic transmission assembly. See Figure.
Transmission Internal Mode Switch Inside automatic transaxle.
