Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer toFuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical-3.8L.
  2. Disconnect the idle air control valve (IAC) electrical connector.

  3. Remove the IAC valve screws.

  4. Remove the IAC valve.

  5. Remove the IAC valve O-ring.
