Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical 3.8L.
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector and the vacuum hose.
  3. Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor screws.
  4. Remove the MAP sensor.
