Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector.

  5. Remove the timing belt front cover. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
  6. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor bolts.
  7. Remove the CMP sensor from the top.
