Installation Procedure

  1. Attach the fluid reservoir to the fluid reservoir bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the fluid reservoir with the nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fluid reservoir nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .

  4. Connect both hoses to the fluid reservoir and secure the hose clamps.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Power Steering Required Fluid Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Fill the fluid reservoir with power steering fluid.
  7. Inspect for leaks. If there are leaks, correct the cause of the leaks and bleed the system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
