Power Steering Pump Disassemble

Tools Required

• J 42467 Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover
• J 25034-C  Pulley Remover. See Special Tools .

IMPORTANT: The power steering pump in this vehicle is not serviceable. Replace do not repair a fault power steering pump. Refer to Diagnostic Starting Point - Power Steering System .
1. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle, if equipped with the electronic variable orifice (EVO) system. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (Gasoline Engine) .
2. Using J 42467 (1), press the power steering pump from the pulley.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the power steering pump from the vehicle.
3. Remove the power steering pump pulley nut, if equipped without EVO.
