Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the replacement PCM from the packaging.
  2. Check the service number in order to make sure the service number is the same number as the defective PCM.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Connect the PCM electrical connectors.

    Tighten:  Tighten the PCM electrical connectors screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Slide the PCM retainer into the PCM bracket slots.

  5. Pull the PCM retention bar into position.
