Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel tank vent valve (1) and the gasket (2) to the fuel tank.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Secure the fuel tank vent valve (1) to the fuel tank with the four fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 3.5 N.m (30 lb in).

  3. Connect the vapor hose to the fuel tank vent valve.
  4. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
