Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install ECT sensor (2) to the coolant housing (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the ECT sensor to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  2. Connect the ECT sensor electrical connector (3).
  3. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
