Removal Procedure

  1. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the fuel injector (2).
  3. Remove the hold down bracket at the rear of the intake manifold.

  5. Remove the hold down bracket bolts (1) from the intake manifold.
  6. Remove the bracket (2).

  8. Remove the high pressure and return hoses (2) from the fuel pipes.
  9. Remove the hold down bracket bolt (1) for the fuel pipes (2).

  11. Remove the 3 retaining bolts (1) for the fuel rail (3).
  12. Remove the fuel rail.
  13. Remove the fuel injectors (2).
