Installation Procedure

  1. Check for the correct spark plug gap and adjust as necessary. Refer to Ignition System Specifications .
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the spark plugs to the cylinder head.

    Tighten:  Tighten the spark plug to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the ignition coil to each spark plug. Secure with the bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the ignition coil bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the ignition coil electrical connectors (1).
