Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CKP sensor (3) to the front engine cover.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Secure the CKP sensor to the front engine cover with the bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Secure the sensor wire harness to the engine block with the clip and the bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
