Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the reservoir down vertically in order to install the reservoir to the bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Installing Hoses Without Twists or Bends Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the reservoir outlet hose (4) to the reservoir. Secure with the hose clamp.
  4. Install the reservoir inlet hose (5) to the reservoir. Secure with the hose clamp.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Using Proper Power Steering Fluid Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Add power steering fluid to the reservoir. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid .
  7. NOTE: Refer to Air In The Steering System Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  8. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
