Removal Procedure

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the knock sensor (KS).
  4. Remove the KS from the engine block.
