Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Cylinder End Dust Boot, Retaining Clamp And J 22610

  1. Install the dust boot.
  2. Install the tie rod end dust boot retaining clamp.

    Install the cylinder end dust boot retaining clamp with J 22610  .

  3. Install the outer tie rod. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement .
  4. Install the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
