Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Refer to Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Replacement .

  3. Remove the foam insulation from the air cleaner housing.

  4. Remove the retaining screws.
  5. Separate the air cleaner assembly.
  6. Remove the air filter.
