Fuel Level

The body control module (BCM) receives fuel level data from the engine control module (ECM) (L81) over controller area network (CAN) or powertrain control module (PCM) (L61) over class 2. The BCM calculates the data and sends the result to the instrument cluster to control the fuel gage deflection. The scan tool supports a display for fuel gage position.
