Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the radiator drain plug and drain the coolant 1 liter below the level of the coolant in the coolant surge tank, using a drain pan.
  2. Tighten the drain plug.

  4. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor harness connector.
  5. Remove the ECT sensor.
