Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Removing/Installing Right Knock Sensor (KS)

  1. Reconnect the KS electrical connector.
  2. Position the KS on the engine block.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the retaining bolt for the KS.

    Tighten:  Tighten the KS retaining bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the right wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
  5. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
