Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

• If any of the following components are replaced, an Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Idle Learn Procedure for the 2.0L engine or Idle Learn Procedure for the 2.5L engine.
  • Throttle body assembly
  • ECM
• If any of the following components are replaced, a crankshaft position (CKP) Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to CKP System Variation Learn Procedure for the 2.0L engine.
  • CKP sensor
  • Engine replacement
  • Any engine repair that disturbs the relationship between CKP sensor and the crankshaft reluctor wheel
