Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Late)



SUNROOF MOTOR/ACTUATOR INITILIZATION/TEACH PROCESS (LATE)
Perform the Initialization/Teach Procedure any time a new sunroof motor/actuator is installed in the vehicle.
1. Ensure that the electrical harness on the headliner is connected.
2. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
3. Press and hold the sunroof switch to the open vent position until the window stalls in the hard vent stop.
1. Open the sunroof window to the fully open vent position.
2. Slightly move the window toward the soft stop position.
3. Release the switch after 5 seconds.
4. Ensure that the window is flush to the roofskin and the screws are tight.
5. The Initialization/Teach Process must be restarted if the procedure is not carried out completely.

IMPORTANT: The Initialization/Teach Procedure is not complete if any of the following actions take place before the initialization cycle is done:

Verify the operation of the sunroof in all positions.
