Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2006 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2006 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to ENGINE ELECTRICAL .
  2. Remove the right side instrument panel (I/P) insulator.

  4. Push the release tab on the bottom of the bracket to release the body control module (BCM).
  5. Slide the BCM from the bracket.

  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
