Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor connector.

  3. Remove the CKP sensor retaining bolt.
  4. Gently rotate and remove the CKP sensor from the engine block.
