Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of CMP Sensor And Bolts

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the CMP sensor and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the CMP bolts to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in)  .

  2. Install the timing belt front cover, the crankshaft pulley, the accessory drive belt, and the air filter. Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement .
  3. Connect the sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the engine cover.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
