Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the ECM connectors to the ECM.
  2. Align the ECM into the mounting base.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the ECM bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in)  .

  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Perform a crankshaft position system variation learning procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
