Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (5).




3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor.

Tighten the sensor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).





2. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (5).
3. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (Service and Repair) .
