Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LZ4, LZE, or LGD) .
  3. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector (1).

  4. Loosen and remove the knock sensor (1).
